I'm getting *so* excited about holiday baking! But before Thanksgiving and Christmas, there's still Halloween--or Harvest.
What are some great harvest-type recipes to share with others? I love Pumpkin Cake Roll with cream cheese filling and this yummy apple bundt cake. But aside from those two, I'm drawing a blank! Oh, I also make caramel popcorn during the fall.
What else can you suggest? Any candies or puddings?

There is a recipe for Caramel Apple Squares on the dessert site and a recipe for Apple cobbler. I'll be posting my favorite recipe for apple cranberry crisp in the next few days and a bake-off winner from the 50's Apple Impromptu which is quick and easy. I have several pumpkin and apple recipes on the Quick Cooking site too. There's also pumpkin fudge. I'll try to get some new dishes tested for fall puddings and candies.

My mom wasn't a baker, but she always made Halloween Jackolantern cookies for my whole class. She took round molasses wafers and spread orange colored vanilla frosting on them. Then she made faces with candy corn or brown frosting. They weren't fancy, but I loved them!
Looking forward to more recipes.

I just saw on a holiday baking magazine cover a gorgeous pumpkin cheesecake with a gingersnap crust and some pomegranate seeds and syrup drizzled over the top. Oh, gosh. It looked divine!
