nbksettler: i got enough money for yojimbo just by spending about four hours wandering through the calm lands fighting and winning every battle, i typically sell weapons and armor that i don't see a need for later, as well.

5 mins after i got him i just tried him and payed him 1000 gil, he did zanmato... Later on i was just playing and he did zanmato for free...

i hav da SAME prob. MY yojimbo NEVER used zanmato... i already paid him like about 400000 or summet like that.... damn...he gets me mad i already grand summoned him, paid him about 400000 and NO zanmato???? man my yojimbo is whiping his [censored] wit money and still no zanmato <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> !!!! Zan Mato ... why would u use it lame attack <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> but if u want try 2 get his mood higher by summoning him in lot of battles and at least give him 100 gil every time
and then when u need him 2 do zan mato then give him some more
