Personally, I am so glad there is so much technology now. To me, the technology helps a lot in maintaining a long-distance relationships and friendships. It is certainly better than a few long-distance calls (that used to cost a fortune) from a land line and letters.
I agree 100%. Can you imagine if we had to depend on "snail mail" ONLY(lol).

The only thing that would stop me from being with a man that I love would be just that. Even if he would not be home just one day a year it would be too much. I could learn to accept him working long hours and having not a lot of time off work but him being away I could not.
