9/11 will never be a memory to me. I live the events of that day continuously. The Pentagon is just beyond the river & my company had relocated into the District from Arlington just months before that day. I work with the wife of one of the first emergency responders from National Airport to arrive at the Pentagon. My wife's office lobby has a large twisted I-beam from the WTC - she's employed in a position that was initiated as a result of that day with Homeland Security. Many of my associates in my occupation and in the community work in the 5-sided puzzle palace. What we in DC experienced that day was not on the level as WTC, but still the threat came very close to home.
