Chicken salad with dried cranberries is really good also. My sister uses the "Craisins" for her chicken salad. I like to add chopped onion and lettuce to mine.

Seems like you are making a real effort to eat wisely, Jilly. With Lisa's help you are doing great! Cheers to cheer you on.

Thank you, Lisa and Phyllis. This thread helps a lot to help remind me to eat actual food.

Today and yesterday I had pieces of chicken (got at the deli counter) with brie and WHEAT tortillas. The wheat ones don't taste as good but have good fiber.

Cranberries are a brilliant idea Phyllis. I will get them at my next shopping trip in a few weeks.

Today = wheat torts with beans, cabbage, chicken and nutritional yeast, with a bit of mayo. I had two of them. Decaf and vitamins.

And last night i had almonds for dinner, and metromint water with a shot of vodka mixed in.

last night had a vanilla protein shake. Added a shot of vodka to that for fun. smile

Today i ate exactly what i had for yesterday's lunch. i seem to eat things in batches. Once i eat them up i move on to something else. I don't have to think so much about food that way.

Cool Jilly! I eat in batches too. I don't get tired of food that quickly, so am happy to have fish tacos three nights in a row, or chicken salad all week LOL. The fact that it's easy, and mostly ready to go greatly adds to its deliciousness wink

Jilly - a protein shake is wonderful!

It is fine to eat in batches, many people make food in batches so they don't have to cook or prepare all the time! It's a great technique smile
