Hi,
About 3.5 months ago, I had my gallblader removed - due to many stones, and 5 or 6 attacks (eachtime I had this pain, I suffered through and didn't think about going to the hospital until the last attack I had) ... after the surgery I experienced everything I ate going straight though immediately after (and sometimes needed to stop eating and run to the washroom). After a few weeks of this, things seemed to get better but not completely resolved, and I thought that my body had adjusted to life without a gallbladder. In the last few weeks these syptoms have come back.. to the point where I am going to the washroom in a hurry almost any time I eat a meal, although after some meals I will feel fine - but the next time I eat the same food I am running to the washroom. On average, I have 3-4 loose stools/day... sometimes with mild abdominal cramping. As soon as I use the washroom (ussually a quick visit) I feel 100% better. I am wondering if there is anyone here that has experienced this? Is this normal? is there anything I can do to lessen these syptoms? Thanks for reading!! :)
