Did you take cuttings? Fuchsias need pinching out to promote bushy growth. Softwood cutting are very easy. You can put them in compost or put them in a jar of water - fill the jar with water and cover with tin foil and secure with an elastic band. Pierce the foil with a cocktail stick and put the cuttings in the holes. That way they are less likely to rot and you get to watch the roots growing. Pot up when the have roots. This method can be used for other plant cutting too.
