I am amazed at how few men there are out there that don't want kids but don't give up, they are out there. I am lucky that I found two guys that accepted my choice to be CF. The first even got a vasectomy but after a few years together the relationship was no longer right for me. My current BF and I have been together for 4 1/2 years, and while he would prefer to have kids, he loves me enough to give that possibility up. Now, two years after my Essure procedure, we are still completely happy together.

You are still young, you will find the guy who is right for you.

Don't give up hope, Carly. You're completely right to stick to your career objectives and do what you really love. I met my husband at 28 and the first conversation we had was about kids and how I didn't want them! I agree that it does save time. When we got more serious I flat-out told him that people always told me I would change my mind, but I was 99% sure that I'd never want kids, and if he did then maybe I wasn't the right person for him. We've been married for almost 7 years now and I'm doing a PhD, and still no kids. So hang in there, do what you love and you'll find someone who shares your interests and accepts you as a fantastic performer. You have a shot at a career that very few people do (male or female), so keep at it!

By the way...why would it be so difficult for a female singer to find a guy who doesn't want to control her onstage, when women practically throw themselves at male singers? Interesting.

I hope there are a lot of guys out there who has the same ideals like us CF ladies..
