Retroactive payments may be made in more than one check and the unemployment insurance claims system is programmed to rescreen claims during the quarter to see if you are eligible for a NEW claim.
If not, the system will issue another check under the federal emergency extension (if you qualify).
The total in retroactive payments that anyone could possibly receive under this federal emergency extension is $2,700 for the nine weeks dating from when the previous extension ended to the present.
Anyone receiving these extensions? If yes, we would love to hear your story.
Hi everyone, I had been receiving unemployment benefits from June 2008 when I got laid off, until January 2010. So if you have any questions or need my help with an issue, please do not hesitate to ask.
