I know - I was being sarcastic. Every time he starts talking he sounds like he's doing a sermon.

Yeah ... Woodrow Wilson was the same way, I hear. Maybe Obama's trying to be the black version of Woodrow Wilson for this decade. ;\

I went to a lecture this morning - the Huguenots and Religious Liberty. The Huguenots left France, went to England, came to Virginia (and other places). At the time, the Anglican Church of England was the official church (other states had their own) and ruled the roost in Virginia. At the time of the writing of the Constitution, Madison was able to get the Bill of Rights, especially the first one including religious freedom, added. The Baptists at that time were severely limited and arrested and jailed and wanted freedom to worship freely.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Ain't it ironic how we come from dropping tea in Boston harbor to political tea parties protesting Obama and how he runs the Government? I wonder if those tea parties need a mad hatter to run them like Alice had in Wonderland?

I heard part of a segment on BookTV today and toward the end of the show (last few minutes), Tammy Bruce mentioned the Tea Party and why it has come about. The liberal movement moves America in an unnatural way; the tea party movement is in response to the shift. I think I am going to listen to it again.

Another interview on Glenn Beck (whom I do not often sit down and listen) had two Calvin Coolidge biographers on his show. I am glad I did not miss this show.

My personal opnion on Michelle is she is laughing her a$$ off at the American people. (remember her comments before election) Well now she is telling us "white folks" to stuff it and going for the whole enchilada of what she feels she can get away with. After all what Black American could ever experience what she has unless she was in her position she is now. She could give a s--- about any American person, black, white, green or purple.
