All right, since the August romances have started hitting bookstore shelves, which ones have you read and enjoyed so far?

The most recent book i have read was Captive Pride by Bobbie Smith. It took me a while to read it because I wasn't really into it at first but towards the end it got really good.

I've finished Carly Phillips new series:Bachelor Blog#1 Kiss Me If You Can. It was enjoyable. The #2 is supposed to be out Aug. 31. I don't know if this is an Aug. publication, but I also finished JoAnn Ross's The Homecoming...the first in the new Shelter Bay series. Most enjoyable. Another one I enjoyed this month was Search by Nora Roberts. I'm looking forward to Linda Howard's new Veil of Night.

Veil of Night was a good read. Not my favorite Linda Howard, but very good nonetheless.

Just finished "Scarlet Nights" by Jude Deveraux. Usually I am a big fans of hers, but I was not thrilled with this novel. It was ok, but not her usual great.
