I agree! Soul Mate, tends to send out a Hallmark greeting type romance and I haven't had a day in my life where I've seen that with anyone or a couple long-term.

If a relationship doesn't have ups and downs it's almost stagnate and for some even boring. With growth and the right person there is always something new you may not have known about yourself or the other person and as long as the desire is there to share those issues with eachother, that's a true Soul Mate that can be defined again and again.

Yes, I couldn't agree more. I can't think of any couple, happy or unhappy who don't have ups and downs. It's the true coming together of two people during both the ups and downs that prove or disprove a soul bonding. If both the good times and bad times bring you closer together, you know you've got something special.

Elleise, I don't exactly know how the projection thing works, but I think you're right. Certain energies automatically attract...if you are in a place of chaos without clarity and are searching for a man, you will find a man of chaos without clarity. You might fall in love with him because he feels so familiar...but you don't realize it's your own unhealthiness that he reflects.

If you really believe you have a "soul mate" then you've got to be clear within yourself about who he is. This is why putting it down on paper is so important...thoughts can get jumbled up with all kinds of other thoughts and trail off into something blurred and uncertain. Unless you are like my brother...he always knew exactly who he wanted, and found her in college. They are a perfect couple!

I so agree with both of you, Elleise and Shannon. And writing your feelings of who you are looking for is a good thing to do. I often write poems or short letters to my Soul Mate. He is not in my life yet and may not be in this life-time -- but he is with me always in Spirit.

I believe that Soul Mates are not together in every life. They may pass each other or be distant friends, but only together in some of their life-times on Earth. Together physically or not, they still retain that connection in Spirit.

This is more true than I can even put into words really, but sometime when you're bored, lol, roll up a paper plate or use an empty TP roll or paper towel roll. Poke a bunch of holes around the sides - all sides. Some can be the size of a pencil others the size of a tip of a pen and look through the holes from one side to the other. Crazy interpretation but this is how I see what we think of as "time"{for me, existance}.

This relates in terms of energy - my perception anyway. I believe we do incarnate. I believe every single person is and has all elements within them reflecting those of the Universe. Within the universe we know positive and negative. Things grow and expire and create again. Everything we experience and think follows this same course.

So, the experiences we've had in the past don't go away, they just transform into other energies. So our energies, every second of every minute are creating something - I just call it radar. You will attract tranformed energies that too are recreating themselves and depending on your focus will mover you towards or away from purpose or towards and away from something depleting. But no matter an outcome, good or bad, something can be created. So even in the worst situation it can be turned around, like fertilizer to bring about something stronger/healthier.

With the right focus/intent these types of experiences we might classify as devine, come about and like a hole in one, leads us to what we just know is destiny.

wow, I have to post this. I was finishing up with dinner after my last post and sat back down and read your post Phyllis.

Two things hit me with a tingle on the right side of my head. Two men. There is one male form/spirit he's a guide maybe?????? He's wise, steadfast, stong and sees things beyond the boundaries of what we realize currently. It could be a grandfather, but I'm thinking deeper actually.

There is a huge feather - it's like black and white. It comes from the head and I see it more coming from the right side if I'm looking at him. The left if I'm standing behind him. There is something that dangles from it too, so it's not just a feather. There might be a band that has zig-zags on it. looks kind of like angles of mountains. He's not in modern day clothing.

There's a more romantic interest and that came straight out of AZ? You are the older Soul of the two but this person keeps you young at heart. I feel this is a person on this plane.

This may sound really odd...but I knew my twin soul in two previous lives and I spent the past forty (40) years of THIS life looking for her. I'm very thankful for today's technology, for without the internet...I would probably still be looking for her! I have always loved her with all my heart and I hope this time we grow old and Grey with one another. She was waiting for me and I was searching for her. Then on a cold snow covered day...we met again. I could hear her before I could see her and I started crying as I heard her footsteps coming closer. Then when I saw her, I pretty much was a flood. Yes...I admit it...I truly cried! You would have also, had you waited as long as I did to see her again! :) Anyway, I had better run along and play somewhere else for a while. :)

This, for me, sounds actually normal and very, very, beautiful.

I often say, that whatever we've seen done with technology, nature has done it and thensome.

I get pictures when someone comes with me or to me. I always say with me becuase a reading is joint or mutual. When it has to do with a relationship, I'll get colors at first, very fast and if I can get it to slow down, it will make more sense and I'll see something like green leiderhosen or a field or cool clay walls under a house and the two people are there. I will say, what I'm getting is this is a reunion. These are what I am feeling were your relationships issues then and what I feel now that you'll see and can cope with in more understanding is A.) B.) C.).

When I had a Bed and Breakfast, my husband now rented a room. He was never hardly there because he was a truckdriver. I would feel dizzy around him. like I was looking through a thick round glass and I would shake my head to snap out of it. I never approached him about it.

One afternoon, I was in the kitchen and thought he was coming up behind me. What I saw though was him in a white long gown with some type of gathering at the waist. 30 seconds after that was when he came down the stairs. Because of the look on my face I had to tell him what hapened. I said I've seen that gown before when I was taking ministrial classes and we were studying the Essenes. I then told him, actually, I had considered becoming a nun. I went to the convent and everything.

He told me he had gone into school to become a priest. From there our lives were so parallel and as well, we'll answer eachother from the other room with a response the other person hadn't asked yet but was thinking.

Caulbearer11, this is SOOOO beautiful. And I wish I had a moment like this in my own life.

I've been in love many many times though, and they have all been beautiful experiences.

When I was young I fell in love. Our romantic relationship never worked out, and we parted ways. But over these last 20 years, I've dreamed about him more times than I can count. The dreams are always lovely and sweet. I always awake wishing we'd been able to remain friends.

Do you ever think that in the dream state if it isn't that the person you are dreaming about isn't thinking or preoccupied with what if's too.

Maybe they aren't in a position or are ready to leave a certain physical set up, but they still connect and on a spiritual level end up doing just that.
