I started last monday and still new at the whole thing need to lose at least 50. Hope I'm following the right thing. I don't eat any pastas, breads, sweets etc. ; today I ate breakfast: 3 med egg omlet with 2 turkey saugage patties and 1/2 cup shredded cheese no lunch worked right through and dinner had taco salad which consisted of: a bed of lettace with 1 1/2 cups hamburger browned with taco seasoning, small tomato diced, jalopeanos, 1/2 salsa, 1/2 cup shredded cheeseand 1/2 sourcream on top hope that sounds like the right way Good Luck to both of you I'm really excited about this

Hi Msdawney you gave me a great idea for taco's never thought about putting it on a bed of lettuce, great! Well I didn't get hungry till this evening...but then I remebered a ole trick to stop the hungries and it is allowed l/4 cup of whipping cream with some gingerale soda and that stop the hungries and it has no carbs! Well tomorrow is another day, basickly the same diet. Forgive the typoes time to go to bed, up early at 6am. Nighty all!

Got some low carb Atkins breakfast bars, I got tired of eating eggs and meat. Looking for some low carb cold cereal, but otherwise doing great on this LowCarb lifestyle, will weigh in Sunday.

Doing great! Got hungry on the way home from the gym, went to the grocery store and got a roasted turkey breast and some Happy Cow Gouda cheese, ate that on the way home. Doing great on this Low Carb, not hungry and the cravings have stopped. This is my 5th day of Induction.

Rev,

I have diabetes and need to follow a low carb diet. Possibly a diabetic diet would work...?

Florida, huh? Publix and Walmart superstores have frozen Green Giant and other foods that are potatoes combined with vegetables. I could not belive the low amount of carbs!! Really thought they should be forbidden foods....

(Publix and Walmart) Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers - Roasted Red Potatoes, Green Beans in a Rosemary Butter Sauce. 1&1/4 cups = 21 grams of carbs (I am allowed 35 per meal, so this is perfect for a little bit o'carbs!)

(Walmart) Select Alexia Sides - Roasted Red Potatoes and Italian Inspired Vegetables. (They have other flavors, too)
1&1/4 cup = 18 cards These are all delicious!

Eat those with your meat entrees and you should feel full without a whole lot of carbs. But - stick to the 1&1/4 cup!

Instead of bread - use lettuce for wraps and not sandwiches.
