I am sorry but I realized I probably didnt give enough info on my post so I am going to post my whole ultrasound report,with hopes that I will get some help..so here it goes..
PROCEDURE: Real-time scanning performed with images obtained over the thyroid. Color flow utilized. Multiple representative images obtained.
Right Lobe: 3.1 x 1.5 x 1.3cm [volume=3cc]Extremely heteregeneous
Left Lobe: 3.2 x 1.1 x 1.3cm [volume=2cc]Extremely heterogeneous
Isthmus:2mm AP diameter
Left midpole 0.8 x 0.5 x 0.4cm [volume=0.1cc]
APPEARANCE: Nodule is stable and solid and echogenic.(2yrs. ago it was hypervascular]
IMPRESSION: Extremely inhomogeneous glands bialaterally without enlargement. single stable nodule on left.
