I always use both. I use a moisturizing rinse out conditioner and then a leave in conditioner. The leave in conditioner helps to protect against heat treatments like the flat iron that I use.

I use both. I have really long hair, and it feels so dry if I don't add a little something to it. I like Frizz Ease.

When I had longer hair, I used a leave in hair oil in the ends of my hair. I never applied it near the scalp as I'd get really oily scalp and hair if I did.
