BellaOnline Forums Family Boy Scouts Nobama at the Jamboree

In my current article I was pretty critical about the president opting to talk to the ladies of "The View" instead of keeping his scheduled commitment of talking to our boys at the Jamboree. I would like to know your thoughts if you have anything you care to comment on.

I didn't read the article - but I did hear this and started to or what I was feeling started to coagulate (sp) into perspective.

Politicians, in general, though we might feel we need one man or one woman to show us the way, aren't necessarily the touchy-feely types. So, given that and taken into consideration, this is my feeling.

This person in office lacks any type of connection. It doesn't exist. I've tried, I've looked, I've felt - I get nothing but a lost person, with though, an idea.

This is a president. There is no passion, there are punctuated words and this rolling up sleeves thing - tacky! It's like a bad attorney comercial. No feeling.

I'm a girl scout or was and my brother was an eagle scout and inspiration is husge to the youth - ALL youths, not just celebrity clips and special interests.

To me this person is flat line and proud. Nothing wrong with being proud. A great many individuals are, but if your persepctive is off and it's too small, what exactly, outside of self-interest and personal issues are you leading?

Whatever that one or few interests are, they will never be the carpet that all of the other people will be inspired to grow on. You need connection, sacrifice and less ego for that seed to grow, not separation.
