Some of the meds those on the autism spectrum disorder are on cause weight gain due to the increased appetite. I put my younger son on one for about 6 months for that reason.
But others need to have their weight monitored. One of my worries is that I would have this large kid attacking me - luckily he is not bigger than me yet.
