It's gotten so that I don't even watch new series on network TV because after 6 episodes the series is gone. Fox is better at keeping a series around but I think the major networks expect a series to perform immediately or else they take it off. Why bother to watch?

We recorded all the episodes of Miami Medical, mainly because there wasn't much else on. I thought by the end the series was pretty good, or worth watching anyway. Now it's been cancelled.

At least on other networks, like USA and TNT, the shows run for about 8 weeks in the summer or winter and then they are back the next year. Plus, I really think the shows on cable are better written and developed.

It's no wonder the major networks are losing viewers!
