OK I've officially finished off my last week of classes with Northeastern for the spring session!

I'm so happy - I was very worried that I wouldn't survive the course load. It looks like I'm getting an A in every class. I learned quite a lot. These weren't "basketweaving" classes - each class was very valuable in what I want to do every day. So every class was like having a team of mentors to help me reach my goals (the teacher and other students).

I paced out my 3 final exams, one a day, and that worked well. I set them up early which also worked well because an emergency meant I had to take one 'a day late' on my schedule - which was in reality the last possible day to take the test.

I got my two final papers in fine, and those are looking good.

I did the teacher surveys for all four teachers, so those are submitted.

The only remaining step is to see the actual grade show up in the official transcript which I think happens on Tuesday. And then it's done!

My new summer session starts on Monday so there's barely a moment to take a breath in here smile

The way this is set up, you lose your financial aid if you take the summer off. Also, I want to keep learning smile

Wow! No break between sessions? That's a bummer. Well you're on a roll now so might as well keep going. Hope you have courses you enjoy as much in this session.

That's basically how mine is set up ... You can't have more than a 29-day break, and you have to take 8(?) classes to be full-time and keep your FA. I started early, well, earlier than I intended, so we're trying to get the schedule all lined out. The only "online break" is 2 weeks around Christmas/New Year's. Of course this means, basically you can't have many breaks YAY:) This is good. I get finished rather quickly smile

Sara -

Do you mean 8 classes at a time? Or 8 classes in a quarter?

8 classes in a "semester". I'm truly not quite sure how it works out. I'm still learning. They (the staff) tell me things, I need to request a good ol' email. Reading is good for me LOL.

I only take 1 class at a time. The school lets you take up to 2 at a time, but one is good for me since they go so quickly.

A semester is a half year, so say September to December. So you have a new class every 2 weeks? Or did you mean 8 classes over a year, so each class would run for 4 weeks?

Oops -- I think you have to get in my brain because my fingers aren't typing what they're supposed to frown The classes are 5 weeks long and I think I have to take 8 in a year (not a semester -my bad). But, I still have to verify that. My next course, beginning Tuesday, is Intro to Anthropology. There's ton of reading and a couple of papers. I'm really looking forward to it.
