Hello to all the beautiful Mothers out there!

I just wanted to drop a line in here to let you all know that I recently posted an article over at the Cosmetics site about what to do when your preteen daughters tell you they want to start wearing make-up!
Preteens and Make Up

How old were you when your Mother let you start experimenting with make up?

I was NEVER allowed to wear makeup until I was 18 and out on my own (lol) and the funny part about all this, now at age 51 (52 next month), I ONLY wear lipstick if I am going out.

My mother never cared if we wore make up or not; she let us use her discarded stuff- lipsticks, etc- in grade school, if we wanted to. However, it was never a big deal in our house. My siters didn't really start to use make up until middle school. I didn't start regularly using cosmetics until shortly after highschool. I have sensitive skin, and had trouble finding make up that didn't give me hives, or swell my eyes shut!
