This is a fun thing to do with your children. Make colored ice cubes. Just fill the ice cube tray with water and then let them drop just a drop of different colors into each little cube.
When they are frozen you can put 2 in a glass and add a little sprite or 7-up. As the ice cubes melt, the color of the soda changes.
Do you think your child would like to try that little activity?

We use to do that when I was a child and that was fun.
Now that I have grand children I've started making ice cubes for them from the juice of fruits I put through my juicer.
Another fun option is to make water ice cubes and leave them clear and put golden raisins in them. We usually reserve this for our more fancier drinks in fancy glasses....LOL
