Are you longing for shiny, strong and long hair? Tried expensive shampoos and conditioners, with no result. Use Coconut oil, it has been the hair product of choice from centuries. With no chemicals and additives it is great for hair. It is wonderful to use as a hair conditioner. Beauticians who are familiar with coconut swear by it. It softens the hair and conditions the scalp. Using the coconut oil as a pre-wash conditioner can rid a person of dandruff better than a medicated shampoo. Coconut oil, a natural ingredient in the highest sense of the word, has always been recognized for its quality of strengthening the structure of damaged, devitalized hair. Coconut oil lubricates and softens the hair shaft through the action of minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, and iron.

Good post on Coconut oil for shiny strong long hair. It is a great and inexpensive hair conditioner and hot oil treatment. Very good for revitalizing dry damaged hair from perms, relaxers, curling irons, flat irons. The pure coconut oil is the best for this purpose.

I once met somebody with gloriously shiny hair. She said she'd been using coconut oil for years and that for best results you should leave it on overnight. I'd suggest wrapping a towel over your hair if you're going to do that, though, so that you won't stain your pillows and to minimize the smell.

I'll give just about anything a try at this point. I absolutely HATE my hair during the summer. It looks and feels so dry. I look at all of the gorgeous women around me with shiny, pretty hair. Mine sticks up all over the place and is just as dull as can be...yuck!

It may be the way you are conditioning your hair. Check out this weeks article and see if you are doing things incorrectly and setting your hair up for summer disaster.
