Could your child (or you) make a giraffe that was one in a million?
Easy - take a look at wwww onemilliongiraffes com (dots go in the spaces)
For a lot of free fun one draws or makes one or more giraffes from about anything and sends a digital photo to the website to help Ola, a young Norwegian man, win a bet that he can collect one million (digital) giraffes before this year ends.
Before making giraffes it is helpful to learn a bit about them.
At the site, you can do a 'flexible' search for tinian and see a bunch we've sent in from here. We've made them from palm fronds, sand, coral, shells, nuts, seeds, twigs, cans, bottle caps, string, wire, cookies, etc. It's something you can do alone or with someone else of any age. I think Ola says on the site that the submitter age range is from 3 to 104.
A fun rainy (or sunny) day project. Or to do when visiting the grands, etc. And the giraffe(s) become part of the one million and are displayed on the site..
