Do you need to simplify your life? Here is one of my first articles for the Living Simply site: Is Your Life Too Complicated? A Quiz I appreciate your feedback.

I'm pretty happy with the stuff I own. I'm not minimalist but I don't own much more than I need. I used to have to hang onto stuff 'just in case I might need it in the future' but now I pass things onto charity and not worry about 'things' I may need in the future. However, I found this quiz to be exceptionally spot on when it addressed the emotional side of living simply. I am not living simply in the emotional sense. Too hard on myself as a person -- a lifetime habit. And worries that concern the past and the future and the now. I spend far too much time worrying about things that never happen. I've lost perspective. I think it was very astute of you, Lori, to include the emotional aspect in your 'living simply' philosophy.

Ok, I just took the quiz on Is Your Life Too Complicated? and I can see trying to live a simple and balanced life is a constant commitment for me.

I like how you group the questions into several areas. This allows me to really look at which aspect of my life is not quite in sync with simple living. I definitely need to work on my daily to do list. My "master list" is always long, but my daily to do list should never be longer than what I can realistically accomplish in a focused yet relaxed manner.

I find that living simply is a commitment. But the most important thing is that as we become more aware, we can always bring ourselves back to balance. The articles on your site are great reminders for us to do that.
