Hi. I need some help with a very embarrassing situation, and I know I'm not the only one, who has experienced this. I just adore silk and would wear it everyday. The only thing I don't like about it, is that perspiration really shows through silk. Another unpleasant thing is that the mineral content in sweat varies from person to person. Stains can be found in the fabric even after the sweat dries, and silk is something you have to be careful with. Weight, obviously, is a contributing factor to sweating, and I could stand to lose some pounds. Even when I'm thin, I still sweat a lot. Besides anti-perspirants , are there any tips to better control this? Any foods that might help?

Ah, you got me on one.... caffe-e-eine. But if I dress up, it's not in the morning, at work, when I would have a hard time staying awake. If I wear silk, it will be in the evening or on a day off. Thank you, alica. Any others?

some more tips Try anti-bacterial soaps to kill additional bacteria while you shower Drink water. Water dilutes the concentration of your bodily effluents and it cleanses the whole system. Drink plenty of fluids and stay fit Relax as much as possible using regulated breathing, yoga or meditation. This can reduce stress, a perspiration trigger. Use talcum power let the air move around problematic area If your problem is really big, consult doctor. he may suggest some surgery to you.

UNIQLO have brought out a new range of women's clothing that 'combines breathable fibres with cross-woven nylon, removing sweat at the humidity level and keeping the wearer dry and comfortable underneath their clothes, whilst ensuring a smooth and silky feeling next to the skin.
