The bright, clear colors I used to wear look too bright on me now. How should you change your colors as you age? I am of Italian descent with an olive complexion and bright silver hair. As I have aged and sun tanned less, my complexion has lightened and can look sallow. What color tones would flatter?

I have the same skin tone and dark hair and I used to be a winter. As i have aged, I now see that I am a summer. You might want to look into the Summer palette.

Thanks for that suggestion, Jilly. I always wanted to wear the Summer palette colors. I'll look at those colors a little closer on my next trip to the sewing fabric shop.

Try pastel colors instead of bright colors. The lighter colors will make your skin look more tan. Whatever you do, don't wear skin tone colors! ----------- RetailTherapy.com

I do not let my age dictate what to wear. My skin tone is about the same but even if it changes drastically this too would not make me change what I wear.
