Thought you should know: Wal-Mart recalls GE Coffee Makers

83 reports of overheating, including three cases where people were burned by the 12-cup coffee makers, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said. In one instance, a �significant kitchen fire� damaged countertops, cabinets and a wall, the agency said.�

The model numbers for the defective General Electric coffee makers are black 169164 and the white 169165.
