It breaks my heart to think of the pain these poor defenseless animals endure. Man's cruelty is unspeakable. Horse meat is sold right here in America, and horses are pets too. The flip side of this is, since the conditions of the dogs is so bad, can the meat be good for the people to eat?

Probably not but other cultures also eat poisoned flesh from dolphins and whales - mercury has been found in the systems of the Japanese villagers that were featured in the movie "The Cove"
but despite these detrimental findings they still continue to slaugher dophins. People can be a very perverse species - which of course is why we have laws to protect each other and animals from human craziness.

Funny how other species are all coherent, I mean, dolphins would be clever, quick, agile and peaceful, unless under very drastic circumstances (usually human-induced) but humans can be soooo different. even just one person can be kind one day, and then turn evil the next. (*sigh*)
