... that my SD actually doesn't care a damn about me. Yesterday it was Mothers Day. She didn't even phone or send a message to wish me a Happy Mothersday. And this after everything I've done for her in the past 6 years! She's studying in another Province ... she's quick to phone when she needs something. I've done more for her in the past 6 years than her own biological mother did for her in 18 years! But I've now decided to withdraw completely from her. I'm not going to allow her to use and abuse me any longer. When I told DH last night that I'm a bit saddened by her not sending at least a message, he off course took her part again, 'cause (like he said), maybe she had a reason. WTF?! I'm not trying any longer to try and build this relationship. It has to come from both ways and not just one way - it will NEVER work out.

You aren't alone in that one my friend! Both SS's were with DH and I yesterday and not one word from anyone!

You know what alliegirl? I'm not even going to try from my side any longer with these 2 kids. I mean, SD is 18 and SS is 15 (almost 16). No matter what I do, I just can't win.
