I have several fb friends who post things like that from time to time. Only one of them was as bad as your friend's post, but fortunately for me, she removed me as a friend just as I was getting ready to remove her......so at least the feeling was mutual! Reading this thread has been quite enjoyable for me. Just this weekend my husband and I finally made the decision to live childfree. I was not questioning my decision, but was struggling with the emotional ramifications of it, such as feeling like an outcast since it seems like everyone around me has kids or is pregnant. So, I got online today and googled "living childfree" and was amazed to discover so many websites and forums dedicated to the subject. I am feeling much more confident in my decision already. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who posted on this thread, because you've really made a difference in my life today, as crazy as that may sound.

Dolyn, You ROCK! Those posts are soo annoying. You took the words right out of my mouth.

I hate the way it all comes down to us supposedly judging them. It's actually kind of a similar reaction to the one I get when I tell people that I quit drinking (I had to because alcohol makes me sick). Suddenly I started getting questions like, "Do you think I'm a bad person because I still drink?" Of course, the answer is no - my decision has to do with me and me only. Just like my decision to have or not have children!
