BellaOnline Forums Computers Computer - Console Gaming Help Question about Ultimate Weapons

My love and I are playing FF10 so everything is in the we sense of things. This may be a spoiler, I dunno.
Okay, we have the guide book and it tells us that we need the sigil and the crest to get each weapon. No problems there. We need the celestial mirror, no problem there. The thing we don't get is that we don't have the sigils for most of the weapons but we found three of the treasure chests and they opened and we got the weapons. Now, should we still go for the sigils or not worry about it? We have both for Auron and his weapon doesn't seem to do anything impressive and it was charged in the woods too. So what's the deal?
I know that some of the weapons charge the aeons but don't they do cool attacks in battle too?

Any help would be appreciated.

you need both the sigil and the crest to unlock the full power of the weapons, after you get them take them to the same place you got the mirror in the woods and the no ap will go away and they will each get great stats

Yes Uffda is right. You need both the sigil and the crest for the weapon to work properly. AND YES the ultimate weapons are very well worth the trouble of getting if you want to defeat the fiends at the arena.

But if you have a character, Kimahri for instance, that you NEVER use. Then I wouldn't bother getting his, cuz his sigil is annoying to get......Damn butterfly game. *Goes back to trying...*

This time through, I made Kimari take Lulu's sphere route and I'm actually using him more. Of course, I try to pull each character into every battle. He was so worthless last time when I sent him down Rikku's path.

I only bother to build up my 3 main chars now, mayby I will build the others later, but my 3 chars are:

tidus, of course
yuna, can we say aeons
and for the third i was going to do wakka becaue of his ranged attack but I just dont wanna play that much blitzball so I went with auron, not only is he cool but his weapon is easy to get

I started playing blitzball at every sphere it seems like now. Sometimes I really don't mind it, but other times it just wears me the hell out playing 10 minute mini games that you know you're going to win with no contest. There should be a mercy rule of a 3 point lead wins.

The annoying part we have to fight through is that damn chocobo racing!! Arg~! We took turns and have been playing that one mini game for like 10 hours. :rolleyes: Not happy.

Thank you all so much for your help. The only other thing I want to know is WHERE is that cactor that is on the airship??? O.o Sneaky bugger. I read her hints and it said if Yuna is on the top deck get IN sin.... I say huh??

the chocobo thing is hard and so is ths cactuar thing.
you should be able to get thecactuar before going to highbridge or after<before sin>.
my "top" people that work fine are
auron=heavy attacks
wakka=ranged attacks
rikku=for everything in between <she has gone through lulu's grid,kihmarhi's and wakka;s as well and a bit of aurons.......
um..
could someone send me <or post> a sampl url for the avatar/picture thingy so's i can have one too..

I thought the cactaur thing was quite easy, just time consuming and a pain to run all over the desert finding them, but alot easier than the STUPID @#$% chocobos, and i refuse to stand there and dodge 200 lightning strikes...
