Hi everyone, I would like to know what your thoughts are on having mirrors where you practice, I have read many different opinions, & would appreciate anybodys experience on this. )0(

Mirrors have reflective properties that can cause the energy to bounce around. Although I have read that they can be used for a divination a method called scrying. They are also been known to absorb and record energy and thus give off residual energy. One of the best examples is the Victorian era practice of covering mirrors in a house where some one has died to prevent the soul from getting loss and / or trapped inside. Any one else find antique mirrors creepy? Personal I don't work any kind of magic around mirrors.

I laughed out loud over the creepy mirror comment. Every time I get around an old mirror I get that same feeling (and get far away). It's a flood of eons-old images of every known emotion that I feel, and they are too varied, coming all at once. Yep. Creepy sums it up. lol

I have also read that mirrors can help to circulate the energy in the room were you are working spells, that it helps to direct your energy.It seems to have various qualities. )0(
