Here are my test results, wondering if anyone can help me to figure them out to see if anyone thinks anything is wrong. Free T3 is 5.6 Ref 3.0-6.8 Free Thyroxine 9 Ref 9-24 TSH 3.2 Ref 0.38- 5.5 Any advice would be great. Thanks

Working backwards, there's some debate over the TSH. I've heard that the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinologists changed the ranges to 0.3 -3.0 which would make you definitely hypo. Though when I checked out www.aace.com it seems it's still up for debate. Regrettably. Mary Shomon on www.about.com has a lot to say about this. Because your FT4 is also at the bottom end. Maybe you need to up your dose of synthroid, if that's what you're on?

Did you start out hypo, or were you hyper or something else first?
