Any opinions out there on which of the historic Hudson River mansions are most interesting? I've only been to Sunnyside and Philipsburg Manor. Wondering about Rooselvelt's Home? Vanderbilt Home? Mills home (Staatsburgh)? Rockefeller home (Kykuit)? Lyndhurst? Van Cortlandt Manor? Would love your tips.
I'll post my review after I visit later this month.
I would love to hear more about Montgomery Place, est in 1775. I have seen a picture of it and read a little about it. It is a very interesting looking mansion.
