I did get to look at Lisa's Kindle and was impressed with how easy the grey newspaper-colored background was to read. Was surprised it didn't have back lighting for nighttime, though.
Also, the paging and navigation was easy enough once you got into the rhythm of it, even though I kept trying to touch-screen the darn thing.
I decided i may as well just use my iphone's Kindle app (and there are other apps for downloading books), since I already own one, and am very comfortable with it.
I did also get to see an iPad in use and that looked even better than either the Kindle or an iPhone. But again, will stick with my phone for reading, so i do not have to carry/worry about/buy another electronic device.
And that is my assessment thus far. I will try to remember to report using my phone as a reader once I actually DL a book and test it out.
