I agree about the benefits of walking. I am lucky that I live in the countryside and every day, early and late in the evening I walk my dogs. I find beautiful flowers and blossoms, herbs etc every day of the year. In the evening, I have fantastic stars, clouds and wonderful dark skys.
Where I am unlucky is that I have recently lost my husband and feel so alone. But, my walks are the best part of my day. If I find a wild orchid, I take it home for my husband's photo, if I see a bright star, its HIM, watching over me. We talk and walk. The beauty of nature can make you cry, but, it does heal, season by season...
