Dance Of Death - what an amazing concept. I love it and the symbolism. I was going to guess "Hotel California" for the title.
This last painting reminds me of the "Tower of Babel" painting because of the style. Other than that I would have to do more research.

Very good, Phyllis! The style was what I had in mind. The artist IS Pieter Brueghel the Elder and the painting is called the "The Triumph of Death", done in 1562. __________ Trish

Dutch, I think. Well...no, I just checked again. He was born in Antwerp and was a French Baroque artist.
Note the boy in the center. What other famous painting does this boy resemble?

The boy in the center reminds me of "Blue Boy" by Thomas Gainsborough but your painting is by a Flemish artist. Maybe one artist influenced the other here.

That is correct, Camille. Gainsborough's painting of Blue Boy was regarded as a homage to the artist of my painting. "Blue Boy" is said to have been very close to the boy of a royal family.

The children in the painting are the children of Charles the First. Any guess on who the artist was?
