I am trying to get my girlfriend some pearl earrings as a surprise gift. She has very curly hair, doesn't frequently wear it up, and it is very, well, full, like it usually covers her ears mostly. Should I get a pearl stud earring, or something that dangles/hangs a bit? Thank you for the help!

What type of earring does she usually wear? Discrete little ones that hide in her hair or dangly ones that hang below? That should guide you. Maybe a short dangle would be a nice compromise?

She wears both, usually either longer hanging, or studs, sometimes hoops, not ever really a short dangle. do you think the pearls will just be hidden behind the hair and it will be silly?

I have to agree that I would get her something based on what she already wears. If she does wear both studs and dangles, then get something that reminds you of her. She will appreciate the thoughtfulness.

Hi pearl earrings indicate status,and are very chic...i believe its more for older women,or married women rather than teens. Thanks!
