I'm looking to buy a black trench coat online and wonder which would look better on me, short or knee-length? I'm youthful 58, 5ft 5in, size 12. If you click on the small Alternative Image underneath the main picture, you'll see them in black. Hi Clare,

I looked at both and they are really cute! You're in Ireland I presume? Florida here, so I always buy the short type with zip out lining because I so rarely need the extra warmth.

However, I loved the knee length one the best. Two reasons: 1)The color. The pink is awesome. Any bright color though would be great. 2) The length makes it versatile. Dresses won't hang out from the bottom and it still looks great with pants.

Good luck!

Thanks Nancy. Yes, I'm in Ireland. I wouldn't buy the pink though. I already have a red one and hardly ever wear it because it's too bright for me. So it's the black one I want (you click on the little picture just underneath the main one to see it in black).
