I use mason jars and other glass jars for beads, buttons, jelly beans, M&M's, cotton balls, Q-tips....all little things that would get lost in a drawer. I love glass jars!

And they look nice, old fashioned, sitting on a shelf. I have two mason jars that are scented candles and keep them by my fireplace. I love anything that looks old-fashioned.

These are some great ideas. I love them. I wrapped wire around the lip of the jar, put candles in them and hung them from trees for a wedding reception. It looked like a sea of fireflies. Keep o posting those uses.

Great idea to hang jars on a tree..bet they would look nice in the summer in the yard when having a party. You can also use jar as craft projects for the kids. Easy to do just cut different color tissue paper in small squares and have kids glue them on the jar (cover the jar completely). We called them stained glass jars.

I have some old gallon jars that I use for sugar, flour and cornmeal on my kitchen counter. I also use them in the cabinets for my pastas. I have so many in the kitchen it isn't funny!

I just put my brown rice in a jar last night. And I was thinking should dress up the lids a little(glue a cover on) and add ribbon or raffia or something.lol Might be a good project for this weekend if we get the snow which is predicted.

Those are some great ideas for mason jars. A new one I saw was a homemade bath salt in a mason jar. I am trying to get the recipe. It smelled and looked beautiful.
