I just watched the Ghost and Mrs. Muir for about the hundredth time. It's one of the real classics and such a good movie! Rex Harrison and Gene Tierny are in it.

I think there was a television show of the same name. I used to watch that all the time.

"The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" is one of my all-time favorites. It is such a romantic and memorable movie.
I think they did at one time have a weekly tv show with the same title. I used to watch it, too, but cannot remember who acted in it.

There was a TV series from 1968 - 1970 starring Hope Lange & Edward Mulhare in the roles originally played by Gene Tierney & Rex Harrison in the 1947 film.

I liked the TV series. When I got older, I really liked Edward Mulhare. He could haunt me anytime - so dashing, charming, romantic.
Hope Lange was Mrs Muir. Reta Shaw was the housekeeper. Charles Nelson Reilly was the great nephew or something of the Captain (he was also petrified of him). I don't remember who played the kids...and they had a dog.
Great movie and tv show.

I used to want to grow up to look like Gene Tierny. I loved her in Laura, too.

This was one of my all time favorite movies! I always wanted to live in a house like they had at the sea side.

I used to watch this Ghost and Mrs. Muri played by Hope Lange and Edward Mulhare. I don't think I ever saw old one. Maybe I will look for old movie then.

I LOVE this movie! Rex Harrison is so dreamy! And I LOVED the ending. I just wish they could have been together throughout her lifetime.
I remember that I watched the series as a kid, but I don't actually remember any of it - other than Hope Lang was Mrs. Muir. And there were two kids and a dog.
