Here are some things you can do to reduce the stress of job insecurity: 1. Meet regularly with your boss 2. Network throughout your industry; join professional groups; 3. Increase your visibility across business units: write for your newsletter; make a presentation; chair a staff meeting; involve yourself in groups 4. Communicate with others at work

Those are great ideas Sbubh. Definitely staying involved and active helps your efforts become known and also helps you be a more happy person. Which is a great goal for all of us!

Networking is key for everyone, no matter what type of job they have or don't have. Talking with other people who share similar goals can really help you reach your own!

Hi,

One way to use the best tip for stress is to answer this question :

What do you do usually that provides you great pleasure and relaxation ?

Do more and more of it today, tomorrow, this week and during this month.

Bathing is the one of the way to reduce the stress ,and the another way to reduce the stress is hearing music. It is the one of the way to learn to relax.

In todays world, we dont have time for ourselves , this will effect both our body and mind, so to keep away from this, we need to have stress management which will keep our mind out of stress.

Great tips! - a combination of dealing with stressors, and treating the symptoms. Laughing is great - it releases endorphines which make you feel good and are also natural pain relievers. Make sure you laugh every day by watching your favourite comedy or chatting to your best friend (my best friend always makes me laugh!). Ros

Yes. Learn to relax. Learn to clear your mind of all stressful thoughts. Just breath in and breath out. Feel your heartbeats and soon you will be as relaxed as you can be. =)

It is so true, we should all find time to watch happy movies, rather than watching depressing news all the time.

Yes! I find that watching uplifting/funny/happy movies is a great way to change state and release stress. It gives me something good to focus on.

Since last year, I have banned most bad news/heavy/depressing media out of my life. It certainly has made my life better.
