It hasn't happened in a few years (life's been quite hectic) but years ago when I would rest in the afternoon, not asleep, eyes closed....I would begin to see like a movie screen with the color dimmed almost out. It would be as if in a tube, round shaped. The scene would begin to move and at times I could control the vision, for example, if flying over a landscape, which I did a lot, I could decide to magnify and fly closer in and so on. Before 9/11 a year or so before, not sure of time frame, I saw 3 hooded robed figures on camels in the desert with mountains in the background and the I saw a big plane on the tarmac, just before takeoff. I remembered trying to zoom in to see the numbers on the tail, and I did see a couple. I wrote it down somewhere. So would you call that a vision? An inbetween dream state like lucid...sometimes I wonder if I will go thru a phrase where these events and experiences will come again. I have had 3 experiences of clairaudience where I heard a voice speaking in my right ear. That is something I can't describe but each time was just a word ..two or three but it was "in my ear".

I would call that astral travel.

I agree with Mumzy on Astral Traveling. I was going to throw in Remote Viewing and that is a form of Astral Traveling. They actually used this in the military at one point, however, I haven't followed up on that in over a decade. So, they may have scrapped it.

My feeling on military usage is that it would most probably split the person's brain, litterally in two. As it is, both the left and right side of the brain, find a way to coexist with eachother. If you are constantly being forced to open that range in life and death situations without being able to process it like you would other stimuli, I feel it might send a person over the brink of insanity
