I decided this week that I would try to take a bath every few days to give myself some relaxing time - and to catch up on book reviews that are piling up.

Of course, I promptly discovered that something is wrong with our water heater so I was taking lukewarm baths which were really not what I was hoping for! So that caused more stress smile

Maybe someday I'll get an actual stress reducing bath!

Aha!! I was complaining today to El Boyfriend that he was playing video games rather than fixing the bathtub issue. He proudly showed me that the bathtub can now be filled up with HOT water which I've never seen it do before! I had plans to do other things, but I soaked for a half hour since he had fixed it. It was so great! My shoulders, which always get knotted up, feel SO much better.

Victory!!

Well the water system is better but not perfect. It'll be another 3 weeks before someone can come to fix it so I'll just have to wait until then for more baths!

I miss having a bathtub. I took a bubble bath a couple weeks back at a friend's house and spent more than an hour in it. Ahhhhh.

When dan comes out and moves into his mobile, there is a tub in that. It is kinda shallow and of questionable sanitary-ness, but I will try my hardest to make it work for me! smile There shall be much bleaching!!

You belong with a dirty nation who bath after many days. Look in all Muslim countries they take bath daily and clean their body, teeth and hands.Shame for you.

I think most people shower every day - that's why a bath is a bit of a luxury. No-one here, I am sure, is saying they're not washing every day! I have a bath twice a week ( and shower other days!) - and I absolutely love it. I always feel good afterwards, especially if I put a few drops of essential oils such as lavender in the water. Ros

Ros, you handled that beautifully.

I forget so many times how international these forums are, and that sometimes the language barrier does confuse some people.

Yes, Jack Mark - people over her (for the most part) do bathe every day - but usually by using the water conserving shower. It is rare that we indulge in a relaxing tub bath. 1. because of time restraints, and 2. because of water conservation.

AHHHHH. I have a place now and there is a BATHTUB. I am so pleased. The house is old (1972) and not very well-made (a singlewide trailer home)...with a small out of date bathroom.

But it has a tub! And it is deep and narrow, just the way i like it. It's the best tub I have ever had actually. Most modern tubs are wide and shallow, and i prefer to fill it to the brim and submerge for hours!

I am already using up a few stashes of scented salts, and want to dig my wonderful Lush bath bombs out of storage for super duper girly relaxing. YAY!
