OMG! YES! I am addicted to sugar and "it" makes me feel miserable.
There are times that I go cold turkey and avoid sugars for weeks at a time and it's the times that I've felt the best. I'm glad that you've brought it up.
Someone told me once that sugar had an addictive affect, I thought they must be high on something else...lol...yea, well, I now believe it.
As soon as I allow myself to have a taste, then I go ahead and have it in a little more at a time, and the next thing I know, I'm eating all day long and all night long. Sugar increases my appetite.
People who eat "normal" probably wouldn't be able to relate, but I think anyone who has ever gone on "diets" have probably noticed it.
Initially, I thought it was just the guilt of having gone off the diet, but after going through drug addiction, I see the similarities.
Good luck - stay away from the sugar and stay healthy! Stick with the candy that God makes.
