MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

CHRISTMAS HORROR MOVIE LIST

Here's my list of the best Christmas horror movies, my personal favorites being 'Gremlins' and 'Black Christmas' (the original).
Gremlins is really funny and really Christmasy and Black Xmas was the first slasher, four years before Carpenters Halloween, a stella cast and actually REALLY creepy. Watched it on my own on Christmas Eve two yrs ago and was scared bad! Loved it though, it set all the trends!! So would you watch a horror with your Christmas Dinner? smile

Pretty much, I'll watch whatever movie, whenever I'm in the mood. Sometimes an August evening is the perfect time to relax and watch "It's A Wonderful Life". I used to love "Tales From The Crypt", never thought of it as a holiday special. Of course, it just depends who else is sitting around the table when you're watching movies. I know my daughter was young when Gremlin's came out, and I always made it a point to watch horror movies with her, I didn't like whiny cry babies when I was 5, though I'm a little more understanding now that I'm a grandma. I do wish my grandson wasn't so...sensitive..he doesn't like scary movies. I was trying to get him to do the "Time Warp" with me, but he asked me to please turn it off, because it was too scary for him. He's 4, maybe he'll be over it later this month when he turns 5. You are Joy! Joyfully, Janet

LOL - I used to be terrified of Michael Jackson's Thriller video, I used to beg my cousins to turn it off - then I hit 14 watched Nightmare on Elm st and haven't looked back. Everyone needs to find a horror piece they can identify with smile

Hey,
The only movie that I've seen out of this group is Gremlins - how sad is that? You're right - Christmas is not the time that one normally equates with horror.
