i am new here, please bear with me. i am 25 and i only had one relationship with a woman but it didnt ended well, she chose to be with a man. she was the one who courted me and i was her 4th lesbian relationship. my problem is, my being lesbian is not known to everybody. im hiding in my closet so to speak. the person who knew about it was my ex girlfriend. now i like a friend so much that i wanted to have a relationship with her. i love her secretly. all she knew is that im straight but i dont have a boyfriend. there are guys who are courting but i dont wanna be in a relationship with them. i need help on how to be honest of my feelings to my friend. im afraid she might reject me and lose the friendship, worst, she might tell everybody about my true self

The first thing that is important is to be true and honest with yourself. Are you happy with being who you are? Seriously happy? If you are happy and confident in yourself as a lesbian, then it will truly not matter what your friend thinks. If she is a true friend to you, she will recognize your feelings and deal with them in one of two hopeful manners: 1. she will like you as much as you like her, or 2. she will reject your love advance but cherish you as a dear friend.

I can only hopppe that all works out for you and that you get the results you are hoping for.

thank you jase. but im still kinda confused now. im not confident enough being a lesbian, afraid that my family and friends wont accept me. as to being happy, i am. i guess i would totally be happy if my friend would accept me as i am, moreso, like me as much as i like her... im still keeping my fingers crossed. im so in love with her and this is making me crazy to have secretly feeling this way. i might tell her before the year ends. thank you so much for your insights. im happy i could freely talk in this forum.

Too heavy a burden just keeping it to yourself. Find one persn that you trust and talk to them about it. It will become easier for you then to come to terms with being a lesbian
Oh and by the way it is just great being out. Never looked back
