Sunday's paper had a wonderful article about a treasure trove of records about the early settlers in St. Augustine, Florida. The records are from 1594 to 1763. There are marriage records, other diocesan records, historical records, and artifacts.

The records were moved in 1763 to Cuba when the British took over Florida. Then the records were moved back to the U.S.

Too bad you didn't link the article so we could read it.

It was in Sunday's paper and I only ready the article Thursday. I cannot find it in my paper but I found it somewhere else.
