That's a great article, Sadiyya, and it's so very true! As much as we might feel "wronged" in a situation, if we respond with anger and grumpiness then we just make it even worse.
We definitely can't be a doormat - nobody should be abused. However, we need to take care of ourselves and work to make ourselves happy. When we are happy, within the situation we have available, then it often makes the whole situation much better and brings us the result we want.
