I question why, people who scream free market don't advocate for one.

Are there any conservatives truly for a free market? I would back a true free market, but no one has proposed any free market legislation. In fact all of the current laws establishing group (limited socialized medicine funded by employers through consumers - aka the public) health insurance are blatantly anti-free market.

No private business should be responsible for any private individual's health care.

Where is the bill making people responsible for their own expenses? Eliminating the current health care burdens placed on private business would enable business to pay higher wages so people could buy their own individual coverage. Business would be able to lower prices and compete in trade with foreign companies that don't have to shoulder the burden of health care costs for their nations.

Why doesn't anyone ever advocate for a true free market? Why is it always private business that has to take on this burden?

I think I mentioned that in another post somewhere - buying health insurance could be like buying car insurance - most of us do that and get what we need.

Health insurance through your place of business was a perk or bonus to work for a company. This practice started after WWII. There was a shortage of workers. It was like a signing bonus.

That's exactly right. A "perk." Not a gimme.

In reality, most of us work and save up for what we need or go without when times are tough.

The advocacy now is, "how to get something for nothing" or on the backs of other people. When you start to do something like that, it's always going to eventually be like a linch-mob on a website that came out advertising games or movies/music, etc. something for free. Always, it crashes the system and with anything else people get for free, once they get it, they begin to expect that with everything else. They don't ration.
